Patch Level:

This is a smit/installp installable patch that will install as 
level 5.2.6.1 

The gzip'd tar TSMSRVAIX5261.tar.gz contains the following install packages

   5261D5.bff - tivoli.tsm.devices.aix5.rte
   5261S4.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.rte
   5261S5.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.aix5.rte64
   5261ACS.bff - tivoli.tsm.devices.acsls
   5261COM.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.com
   5261DMG.bff - tivoli.tsm.msg.en_US.devices
   5261SMG.bff - tivoli.tsm.msg.en_US.server
   5261WEB.bff - tivoli.tsm.server.webadmin
   5261WMG.bff - tivoli.tsm.msg.en_US.webhelp

NOTE: This patch only updates the above listed filesets. 

Using:

This patch requires that you have release 5.2.6.0 installed

To "install", as root user, follow these steps:

1. Get (bin) TSMSRVAIX5261.tar.gz 
2. unzip and untar the file to extract all the install packages
3. Halt your server to install the server patch
4. Start SMIT and select the following options
   o Software Install and Maintenance
     o Install and Update Software
       o Install and Update from ALL Available Software
         o Specify INPUT device/directory
           o List SOFTWARE to Install - Select all the filesets 
           o set "COMMIT software updates?" to no 
           o set  "SAVE replaced files?" to yes
5. restart the server.

Patch level 5.2.6.1 also effects the storage agent for AIX and 
other platforms. You can obtain the associated install package
from ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/storage  at the location
tivoli-storage-management/patches/storage-agent/5.2.6.1
