1.0	About this readme file                       

    This readme file describes the management GUI that replaces the 
	IBM(R) System Storage(R) SAN Volume Controller Console. 

	The readme also describes how to get help, and includes
	last-minute technical updates, if any.


1.1	Who should read this readme file

	This readme file is intended for system administrators
	who are familiar with the Windows environment and who 
	will configure the access to the management GUI.
	

1.2	How to get help
  

	*   Administrative or nontechnical support:

	    You can call this number if you have questions 
	    about hardware or software orders; hardware 
	    maintenance; services contracts of entitlement; 
	    invoices; or commercial, state, or local support 
	    operations.

2.0	A management GUI is part of the SAN Volume Controller hardware

	Beginning with SAN Volume Controller 6.1.0, a management GUI 
	that is part of the SAN Volume Controller hardware replaces the 
	SAN Volume Controller Console.

	To access the management GUI, go to https://<Cluster IP address>/
	
	A SAN Volume Controller Console removal tool is provided to assist
	in the removal of any existing SAN Volume Controller Console.
