Perspectives
ITDT provides perspectives for Diagnostic/Maintenance, Copy Services, Log Files, and Tapeutil.
The main steps in the Diagnostic/Maintenance perspective are scanning the bus, selecting a tape/changer device, and subsequently performing tests or
configurations.
In the Copy Services perspective tape content can be either copied or migrated.
The Log Files perspective reveals detailed information about drives, cartridges, and changers.
The Tapeutil perspective is an interface to execute direct commands to drives and changers.
