It is possible to use IPv4 values as well as IPv6 values.
The configuration values may include the IP address, subnet mask length, and DHCP enablement.

If
The TCP/IP port configuration requires the following steps:
- Select the tape drive for which the configuration is to be changed in the
Control Center panel of ITDT. - Choose the
TCP/IP Port option under theConfig button. - The
TCP IP Configuration panel to the right will show the current configuration of the drive. - Select one configuration (port/socket) you want to edit either by double-click or select one and press the
Configure button. - Provide values for the TCP/IP address (either IPv4or IPv6), subnet mask length or DHCP IPv4.
- By selecting the
Reset button, the current data will be reset to factory defaults. - For an additional DHCP IPv4 address, set DHCP_V4 to 1.
- Select the
Apply button to set the new configuration. - A green checkmark will be shown on top and the
Result field will show PASSED.
In case of errors the

Wrong generation of LTO tape drive was selected. The IP value has the wrong format. The defined subnet is not valid. The TCP/IP set command failed for an unknown reason. |
