Configure TCP/IP Port

With the button Config in the Control Center panel you can select the option TCP/IP Port to set the Internet Protocol (IP) address configuration for supported tape drives.

It is possible to use IPv4 values as well as IPv6 values.
The configuration values may include the IP address, subnet mask length, and DHCP enablement.
A valid SubNetMask Length for IPv4 is between 0 and 32 and for IPv6 between 0 and 128.
If DHCP is enabled, IP Address and SubNetMask will be ignored.

The TCP/IP port configuration requires the following steps:

In case of errors the Result field shows FAILED. Possible reasons could be:

Not supported by device. Wrong generation of LTO tape drive was selected.
The IP value has the wrong format.
The defined subnet is not valid.
The TCP/IP set command failed for an unknown reason.
