Error description

LPAR Migration operation will hang. 

Local fix

There is no work around.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED:
* VIOS running MPIO on DS3,4 and 5K storage. 
*  Affected fileset: devices.common.IBM.mpio.rte 5.3.10.2
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
* When the LPAR migration is initiated the preferred path changes. This causes
* the MPIO code to query the hardware in order to determine the preferred owner.
* The queries return but the code loses track of the return data. As a result it
* thinks that the query has not returned and it hangs waiting for the data.
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:
* Install APAR IZ77901.
* emgr -e IZ77901_4.100623.epkg.Z
* reboot is required

Problem conclusion

When the queries return use the existing MPIO flags to properly identify the 
preferred and non-preferred controllers.
