APAR IZ10980
A failed write to DVD-RAM media could return success instead
of an I/O error.  This could result in an undetected data error.


Prerequisites
-------------
This fix is intended to be installed on AIX 5.3 with the 5300-06
Technology Level plus the devices.ide.cdrom.rte fileset at the
5.3.0.63 level, which is included in Service Pack 4.  The
requisite Technology Levels and Service Packs are available from
Fix Central at:

Installation
------------
- Download IZ10980.epkg.Z in binary format.
- Install the fix using the command:

    emgr -e IZ10980.epkg.Z
