This directory contains an interim fix for APAR IY88011 for the
5300-04 and 5300-05 Technology Levels.


Problem Description
-------------------
NIS+ deadlock.  The system will most likely show a large
number of NIS+ threads.


Prerequisites
-------------
bos.net.nis.server 5.3.0.40 (Technology Level 4)
or
bos.net.nis.server 5.3.0.50 (Technology Level 5)


Installation
------------
Download the IY88011TL4.epkg.Z or IY88011TL5.epkg.Z package in binary
format and install using the following command:

  emgr -e IY88011TL#.epkg.Z

where TL# is either TL4 or TL5.

NIS must be restarted in order for this fix to take effect.
