Problem Description

This fix turns on the Path Open Failure Checker to healthcheck paths that failed beofore a disk is open if the bootdisk is an MPIO device.

IY79157 is required for a complete fix to this problem.

Prerequisites
-------------

devices.ftp.disk.rte 5.2.0.78

Prerequisite updates are available from Fix Central at:

Installation
------------

You must have root authority to install updates.

- Download and install prerequisite updates

- Download IY81104.013006.epkg.Z in binary format

- Install this fix using the command:

  emgr -e IY81104.013006.epkg.Z

The system must be rebooted for this change to take effect.
