Problem Description

APAR IY68989 fixes a problem where a process will hang following
msync then mmap with MAP_PRIVATE.  This problem is know to affect
Oracle on AIX 5.3.


Prerequisites
-------------
This fix requires the 5.3.0.22 level of bos.mp and/or bos.mp64.
The requisite updates can be obtained from Fix Central at:

Installation
------------
- Download IY68989.epkg.Z in BINARY format.
- Install the fix using the command:

    emgr -e IY68989.epkg.Z
