This directory contains an interim fix for APAR IY80272 for the
5300-04 Concluding Service Pack (bos.mp64 5.3.0.44).


Problem Description
-------------------
System deadlocks. Most processes will be waiting for a lock
(simple_lock call from xmalloc1 or xmfree1). The process
holding the lock will have a stack trace showing a call to
pin and be blocked in e_block_thread, called from
register_dr_event.


Prerequisites

bos.mp64 5.3.0.44


Installation
------------
Download the IY80272.epkg.Z package in binary format and install
using the following command:

  emgr -e IY80272.epkg.Z

The system must be rebooted in order for this fix to take effect.
