Problem Description

The shutdown command can hang while attempting to unmount autofs
filesystems when there is no heap space available.

This fix delivers a fix to the /usr/sbin/shutdown command on AIX 5.2.

This fix will be delivered via APAR IY57276.  When available, APAR
IY57276 can be obtained from the following location.

  http://www.ibm.com/servers/eserver/support/pseries/aixfixes.html

Installation
============
- Download IY57276.epkg.Z in binary format to /tmp.

- Run the following command to install the fix:

    emgr -e /tmp/IY57276.epkg.Z

No reboot is required for the fix to take effect.


If removal of the fix is required, use the command:

    emgr -r -L IY57276
